I really enjoy working with these kids, and since I started on the 21st, we've already lost two to new placement =[ That's part of the cycle, but a bit sad at the same time. My hope is that they both go on to live better lives than the lives they have left behind.

About to Work My First Midnight Shift...
I really enjoy working with these kids, and since I started on the 21st, we've already lost two to new placement =[ That's part of the cycle, but a bit sad at the same time. My hope is that they both go on to live better lives than the lives they have left behind.

Kai, I understand how it would be a bittersweet experience to see the kids you work with move on.
I'm sure though that it will be very rewarding for you to know you've played a part, however significant, in shaping their lives. Those you get to know will look back in time and smile when they think of you.
Those are memories that people hold close, which geography and time can't erase.
